BLIIOT EdgeIO System BL216 based on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and next-generation Industrial Internet technology. It features plug-and-play installation without the need for tools and emphasizes stability as a primary characteristic to enable data collection and control functions.
The EdgeIO System BL216 is designed with industrial-grade components and complies with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) testing standards. It provides dual Ethernet ports to support switch cascade functionality.
This system supports standard protocols including MQTT, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA. Additionally, it includes 1 RS485 interface and supports Modbus RTU to MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus TCP protocol conversions, enhancing its versatility and compatibility with various industrial communication standards.
The EdgeIO System BL216 consists of a coupler and IO modules, featuring web-based configuration and built-in programmable logic control functions. It operates as an OPC UA Server, Modbus RTU master, and Modbus TCP slave.
This system can be expanded with up to 32 modules from the N-series, supporting various functionalities including DI (Digital Input), DO (Digital Output), AI (Analog Input), AO (Analog Output), PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), high-speed pulse counting, thermocouples, and more.
Using a high-speed backplane bus, the coupler can handle up to 32 slave stations with a maximum scan cycle of 10ms when fully loaded. It includes built-in diagnostic functions to monitor IO module communication status in real-time and provides a 2000mA driving circuit for IO modules, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in industrial environments.
The EdgeIO System BL216 features a stable and reliable snap-in connection structure, with separate wiring terminals from the IO modules, enabling plug-and-play installation without tools. Its ultra-thin design concept allows for seamless integration into Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Industrial Internet, Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and Digital Transformation solutions by bridging the gap between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) layers.
This IO system is optimized for connecting seamlessly to cloud platforms, making it an ideal choice for Industrial IoT (IIoT), Industrial Internet, Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and Digital Transformation solutions. The combination of its robust connection design, detachable IO module setup, tool-free installation, and compatibility with cloud platforms positions BL216 as a leading choice for IO systems in modern industrial applications.
